In this picture you can see that Katapola consists of several smaller villages. Bottom left is Eleni on the Beach (Eleni Rooms) where there is a small beach. To the right you see Katapola beach, which is quite okay. Best beach nearby is Maltezi beach located to the left of Xilokeratidi, but outside the picture. The image also shows the hardworking boat Express Skopelitis who began here long journey to Naxos, via Donoussa, Koufonissi, Schinoussa and Iraklia.
